The results were amazing. Three months later, I stood in front of a thousand people and presented my arguments without fear. Six months after my balance, I ran in a federal election. In six weeks I probably gave 18 to 20 speeches, many of them in front of large crowds, some of them on television, and some on radio. I have never looked back, and the "attacker" has gone for good. My first experience with crystal bowls, was around 1994 when Gregory Possman came to Edmonton. I went to a presentation he gave, where a crystal bowl meditation for the following Sunday was announced. They mentioned that CBC TV would be there taping, but I conveniently forgot that information until two weeks after the meditation. Somehow I was meant to be there. When I arrived, I was surprised to find the TV camera crew there, but decided to stick around. Gregory instructed us to look into our partner's left eye, third eye, or right eye, and not to move while he played the bowls. He had three bowls with him, and he played for 15 minutes in total. One of the bowls had a strong effect on me. Although I felt no emotion, tears ran down the side of my face. Then he would switch to a different bowl, and the tears would stop. When he went back to the same bowl, the tears would start up again. Gradually, I seemed to run out of tears, and then my sinuses began to drain.(Remember we were not to move during this, and since I've always one to get my money's worth, I followed instructions.)As mucous ran down from my nose, the TV camera came in for a close-up of me. "So much for my political career," I thought, but just continued in the moment. I knew I had to have those bowls, but didn't think I had enough money at the time. I thought about it off and on for the next year or so, then got my own set of seven. my e-mail address if you are wishing to contact me regarding
